  • Rick Santorum, Paul Ryan, Todd Atkin Of "The Party Of Rape & War"

Background: The GOP's "War On Women" (An Introduction)

Barack Obama VS Dick Cheney's Corporations (Includes Mitt Romney)

Ron Paul called the Democrats the party of the "Welfare State" while the GOP is the "The War Party".

[Solutions to the Deficit Problem are here = Why Ron Paul's Plan of Cutting 5 Departments/Cabinet-Posts Is Reasonable.]

I think he wasn't completely correct. In reality, the GOP has become the party of Rape AND War. The two go hand in hand, even in the Bible's Old Testament (BTW, you have to be really really really heartless to ignore the commandments that Jesus said were important for verses in a book where most of the verses arn't even followed by Christians). The reason is the Fall Of Christianity in North America. this post will show, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the worst of the Old Testament is being followed - NOT AS A HISTORICAL LESSON AS INTENDED! - and not the New Testament. You are either an Old Testament Jew ignoring Rabinnical Law OR You are a Christian. What policies you and you're party implements reveals who you are no matter what you may say...

U.S. Rep. Todd Akin of Missouri claims he misspoke when he said "legitimate rape" rarely resulted in pregnancy. (HE NOT ONLY BELIEVES THERE IS SUCH A THING A LIGITAMATE RAPE HE ALSO MADE UP DOCTORS TO SUPPORT HIS FAKE CHRISTIAN BELIEFS!!!!)....

That actually fits the... "Definitions of marriage in Deuteronomy (An Old Testament Book)"...

i.e. “If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives” (Deuteronomy 22:28–29).

Here's the question for the Republican ticket: "Paul Ryan and Todd Akin teamed up on a bill to redefine rape. Looking back, was that a good idea? And if Romney/Ryan is elected, will the Republican administration support similar efforts in the future?"

"Understated rhetoric aside, AUL's mission is to end all abortions in the United States. Founded in 1971 by a Unitarian minister from Harvard Divinity School, AUL first focused on reversing Roe v. Wade flat out, but in the 1990s it turned its attention to rolling back reproductive rights incrementally at the state level. Lately, it's been chipping away at abortion access at an ever-faster pace. Its team of lawyers has written dozens of model bills, which are collected in a playbook, Defending Life, and delivered to every state and federal legislator."

About a bill that doesn't require a doctors permission OR direction to perform (kinda strange law huh?)...

Alabama GOP wants Virginia's vaginal ultrasound bill

A bunch of folks have been asking why Virginia got the nation in such an uproar over its vaginal ultrasounds bill, when Texas has had an even stricter one on the books for months now .

"I hate to say this, but in Texas we can fight all day long, but there's a propensity to write us off," said state Rep. Garnet Coleman, D-Houston.

"They think, 'That's Texas. Texas is a place where those kinds of things happen.'"

So maybe that's Texas. Meanwhile, Alabama Republicans would like their own vaginal ultrasound bill. Alabama Senate Bill 12 actually says "vaginal" right in it, so there's no sense in lawmakers pretending they don't know that's part of the deal. If you read the language of the bill, you'll see that they think the state's right extends inside a woman's body, as do the rights of anyone claiming to be the father, as do the rights of anyone claiming to be the grandparents.

In other words, Rep Akin is walking into a shit storm and needs to cover up what he said fast and the GOP needs to protect it's ticket (thus damage control and quick denials... despite the evidence! hehe!)

Rep. Akin says he cares for victims of rape and apologizes for misspeaking. (Why is he too scared to say what you believe to peoples faces you cowards?)

    "I'll conceived"?

    Magazine Article:
Not only did Akin have the balls to invent an internal mechanism in the female body that dispenses nature’s own emergency contraception during a rape, but he also invented imagi
nary doctors to back up his claim.

But while we all boggle at Akin’s utter disregard for biological fact, let’s not forget that on top of making stuff up about pregnancy, Akin boldly insinuated that many, if not most, rape victims are lying. Unlike with the “rape is contraception” lie, unfortunately, Akin has a lot more social support for his suggestion that most rape is not “legitimate".

These politicians should have consulted Frank Luntz of Fox news to come up with conceptions, he's good at renaming things....

Todd Akin, master scientist? Who thought it was a good idea to put Todd Akin on the House Science Committee?

Given that Rep. Todd Akin can hold beliefs about anatomy that are not just offensive but also jaw-droppingly, mind-bogglingly wrong, one would think he’d be a poor choice to be entrusted with making the nation’s science policy. But that’s apparently not what the House Republican leadership thought when they assigned Akin to sit on the House Science Committee. Akin doesn’t have direct oversight on any medical areas, but he does sit on the Space and Aeronautics, and Energy and Environment subcommittees. Still, that may be cold comfort given his apparently tenuous relationship with science that extends far beyond his thoughts on rape and pregnancy.

The Energy and Environment subcommittee has jurisdiction over climate science and the agencies that do it, and thus deals a lot with climate change (it also has jurisdiction over nuclear power — think about that for a second). Akin, like too much of the GOP these days, thinks global warming is “highly suspect.” But he has particularly colorful views on the subject. In 2009, when Congress was considering a cap-and-trade bill, Akin took to the House floor to explain that the climate bill was a threat to our precious four seasons. “In Missouri when we go from winter to spring, that’s a good climate change. I don’t want to stop that climate change you know. Who in the world wants to put politicians in charge of the weather anyways?” Not Todd Akin, and not science, which says that weather and climate are very different. His subcommittee has oversight over the EPA and parts of the Department of Energy, both of which he believes should be eliminated.

Before watching this next clip notice how the GOP is structured from an ex-Gop "president" guy....

Notice Michael Steel's use of the word 'establishment republicans' and that there was a change in republican party from the 1850s (from individuals to institutions)... i.e. the official (or rather unofficial) party direction is to help business over the individual which, over time, naturally came to be corporations. That's how the republican party became what it is today (also read True Republicanism)

CNN contributors L.Z. Granderson and Will Cain debate Missouri Rep. Todd Akin's comments on abortion and rape....

BTW, the white guy's teeth remind me of the Friends show where Ross had his teeth extra white from some bleach and the would glow in the light under a dark light. Can somebody please test that of that GOP Stooge? BTW, Will Cain should read this post. This is called reporting in context.

Now lets go a little deeper into this cult on unconstitutional capitalists and rapists and rapist supporters (put them all on lie detector tests to prove they are not rapists, I can't imagine anyone other than rapists supporting such policies much less implementing them!)...

First, understand that the teachings of Jesus make it clear that love comes first so these hate filled policy stances are home grown...

    New Testament

Matthew 5:17: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (ex. thou shalt not kill)

    Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

What the GOP is following is rather some of the worst of the Old Testament...

    Leviticus 15:19
"When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening."

Hosea 13:16 (King James) Samaria will bear her guilt because she has rebelled against her God.
They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.

    Numbers 31: 17-18
    17. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
    18. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

    Deuteronomy 20:16
However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

    1 Samuel 15:2-4
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

    Psalm 137:8-9
8 O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us.
9 O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock!

Second, understand that no matter how Mitt Romney may distance himself now he has ALWAYS been on one side of the issue or the other (i.e. he's held both positions of EVERY big issue). In fact, check out one of his keynote speakers for the GOP Convention (Rick Santorum) in context of this new proof of the GOP's non-Christian madness...

Congressman: Pregnancy from rape 'really rare'...

Missouri Republican Congressman Todd Akin says he “misspoke” when he said “legitimate rape” rarely leads to pregnancy, but he says he's not leaving the race for the state's U.S. Senate seat.

During a TV interview, Akin was asked whether abortion should be allowed in the case of rape. Akin replied, “From what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare. If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that thing down.”

He added, “But let’s assume that didn’t work or something. I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child."

Akin said Monday that he was wrong and apologized on Mike Huckabee's radio show. "Rape is never legitimate. It's an evil act, and it's committed by violent predators," he said. "I used the wrong words in the wrong way. What I said was ill conceived and it was wrong. For that I apologize."

While Akin said he was sorry for the comments, he has no plans on leaving the race.

"The good people of Missouri nominated me, and I'm not a quitter," he told Huckabee.

Earlier in the day, Akin said he has “deep empathy” for rape victims, but he opposes abortion.

"I recognize that abortion, and particularly in the case of rape, is a very emotionally charged issue," he said. "But I believe deeply in the protection of all life and I do not believe that harming another innocent victim is the right course of action. I also recognize that there are those who, like my opponent, support abortion and I understand I may not have their support in this election."

Akin’s opponent, incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill, released a statement, condemning his remarks. “The ideas that Todd Akin has expressed about the serious crime of rape and the impact on its victims are offensive,” she said.

President Obama said Akin's comments underscore why politicians, many of whom are men, should not make health care decisions on the behalf of women. "Rape is rape. And the idea that we should be parsing or qualifying and slicing what types of rape we're talking about doesn't make sense to the American people and certainly doesn't make sense to me," he said.

A spokeswoman for Mitt Romney said the presumptive GOP presidential nominee and his running mate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, did not share Akin's sentiments on rape. "Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan disagree with Mr. Akin's statement, and a Romney-Ryan administration would not oppose abortion in instances of rape," Romney campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg wrote.

It's important to note that Ryan and Akin were co-sponsors of the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act," in which a woman's abortion would only be covered by insurance as long as she was a victim of "forcible raped." Ryan also believes that abortion should be illegal in all cases except for when a mother's health is in danger. And he believes life begins at conception.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill gives her take on rival Todd Akin’s controversial rape comments tonight on “Piers Morgan Tonight” on CNN at 9 ET/PT.

Wow! Everyone gets angry about GOP bills that allow rape and the rapist to protect it's babies... so the leader of the party that is doing that - WHO IS STILL RUNNING ON THE SLOGAN 'JUST TRUST MITT' WITHOUT OUTLINING HIS POLICIES... goes out and say's I won't stop abortions for rape!!! This is a straight up communist tactic! i.e. You don't like it? No problem I won't do it... just ignore the policies my party is passing and supporting and have supported in the past! This isn't an election anymore... this is a criminal trial being held on the corporate media's TV!

Note: The above doesn't apply to Ron Paul as he's against war. He's also OK with the pill and helping victims of rape! (He's a real Christian and a doctor not the fake Christians of the GOP leadership. [ Santorum's position - below - is not the same as Ron Paul'sand Romney's position was the same as Santorum (almost) during the primaries. Now he's pretending it's different.]

About one of the Keynote Speakers at The GOP-Republican Conventions...

Rick Santorum on abortion: A child conceived through rape should be accepted as a 'gift from God'...

Rick Santorum 'would urge daughter not to have abortion even after rape': Republican presidential candidate tells Piers Morgan he would tell daughter to consider pregnancy 'a gift of human life'

Rick Santorum would encourage one of his daughters to see a pregnancy created through rape as "a gift of human life" and urge her to not consider an abortion, the socially ultra-conservative Republican presidential candidate has explained.

In an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan show, the former Pennsylvania senator was asked at length about his hardline views on abortion, which he would seek to ban via a constitutional amendment.

Santorum said he had thought deeply on the issue: "When I decided to run for public life I was informed very quickly people wanted to know what my position on that was, so I went through the process of trying to better understand the facts. It became very clear to me that life begins at conception and persons are covered by the constitution, and because human life is the same as a person, to me it was a pretty simple deduction to make that that's what the constitution clearly intended to protect."

    Opinion piece:

Rick Santorum thinks pregnancy through rape is God's gift? Seriously?
Invoking God's will as a supporting argument to his position on abortion hardly fits with the constitution he claims to uphold

(My God! These men are supporting pregnancy through rape with these laws and then they wonder why someone gets angry and think they represent Christianity followed by becoming atheist!)

Romney is hiding something in his taxes from over the last 13 years or more...

From Mother Jones: "The Romney campaign and Bain insist that Romney had not a thing to do with Bain after February 1999, though he signed filings and pocketed millions. But they won't answer specific questions about Romney and Bain during this period—just as Romney won't come clean on his tax returns.(See this Vanity Fair blockbuster report  on Romney's personal finances and what is still unknown about them.) He remains the opaque quarter-billionaire—with mystery surrounding his wealth and the business career he touts as a steppingstone to the presidency. He has yet to be fully vetted."

From Maddow Blog: Regarding Bain Capital, Mitt Romney is being forced to effectively tell the public, "Sure I was the CEO of my own firm, and sure I was paid handsomely, and sure I filed formal documents that said I was in charge, but don't worry, the buck stops somewhere else."

Rick Santorum and his other rape supporter allies - listed below - should be injected with hormones like that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie and put in prison to be raped. Before the billions of sperm reaches his implanted egg... it should be given Constitutional protection, just like they did in Arizona!

Pr-Pregnancy Rapist Protection Services Of The GOP...

Example of a VERY wierd law - pre pregnancy protection (i.e. it ONLY helps rapists keep thier babies after the rape! there is no other use for such a law!)

News Report: Arizona lawmakers have drawn up strict new abortion laws... that decree pregnancy begins two weeks before conception. Final legislative approval was given to a bill that would ban most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, handing Republicans their latest win in ongoing national efforts to impose greater restrictions on abortion. But the bill defines a foetus' gestational age 'as calculated from the first day of the last [mother's] menstrual period'. This would mean, given that a woman does not produce eggs until a fortnight after her period, a baby can be terminated two weeks before it was conceived.

Pheromone parties encourage premarital smelling, and Arizona lawmakers declare that pregnancy begins two weeks before conception. (04:22)...

“If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives” (Deuteronomy 22:28–29).

Note that Mitt Romney is fleeing from one guy who thinks rape is a Biblical sanctioned method of getting married but another is keynote speaker at his convention. You can't make this up. Mitt Romney and his Magic Underwear Brigade are either rapists or rapist supporters and I have proven it above!

Paul Ryan’s rape reversal: Romney says he would not oppose abortion in instances of rape; but Paul Ryan's record looks a lot like Todd Akin's

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were quick to flee Rep. Todd Akin’s drowning ship after he said that victims of “legitimate rape” magically don’t get pregnant, but a closer inspection reveals that Ryan’s views on abortion are not that different from Akin’s. “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan disagree with Mr. Akin’s statement, and a Romney-Ryan administration would not oppose abortion in instances of rape,” a Romney spokesperson said in a statement late last night.

Romney, of course, has a bipolar relationship with the issue of a woman’s right to choose, but the spokesperson’s statement represents a flip-flop for Ryan, who has proposed and supported legislation that would outlaw abortion with no exception for rape. Ryan has earned a “100 percent pro-life voting record” from the National Right to Life Committee during his 14 years in Congress. NARAL, the pro-choice group, looked at 59 key votes on abortion, and found that Ryan voted the anti-choice position on every single one.

He co-sponsored “personhood” legislation that would give fetuses “all legal and constitutional attributes and privileges.” If enacted it would ban abortion care in almost all cases, including rape or incest. The head of the main group pushing personhood legislation said, “In supporting Personhood, Congressman Ryan has taken a consistent pro-life position, one that is called for by the Republican Party’s own platform.”

I’m as pro-life as a person gets … I’m never going to not vote pro-life,” Ryan told the Weekly Standard in 2010.

In a 2010 speech called “The Cause of Life Can’t be Severed From the Cause of Freedom,” Ryan compared the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade abortion decision to its Dred Scott v. Sandford decision, which sanctioned slavery. “Twice in the past the U.S. Supreme Court — charged with being the guardian of rights — has failed so drastically in making this crucial determination that it ‘disqualified’ a whole category of human beings, with profoundly tragic results,” Ryan said. The first, he said, was Scott, and the second was Roe, “when the Supreme Court made virtually the identical mistake” it had made in the slavery case.

He also co-sponsored a measure that would force a woman to undergo an ultrasound before she can receive an abortion, even if her doctor doesn’t recommend it or she doesn’t want to. Last year, Ryan joined Akin and other Republicans in co-sponsoring a bill that would have redefined rape so as to narrow access to federal funding for abortions (under the bill, only women who were victims of “forcible rape” would be eligible). That language was eventually shelved after a national outcry from Democrats and women’s rights advocates. Ryan also voted against letting U.S. troops get abortions at military health centers.

From Mother Jones: "Under Ryan's pro-life bill, a rapist could go to court and prevent his victim from getting an abortion."

What does it mean that 'once your born the GOP wants nothing to do with you'.

For example; Mitt Romney says 'just trust me' on everything without outlining his policies... but the little we do know is so bad that you have to ask yourself what else he's hiding or your really lying to yourself in a way that is suicidal...

BUT doesn't specify IN WHAT WAY EXCEPT THAT PEOPLE OVER 55 WILL BE FINE... i.e. if you are 54 you will be screwed and living on the streets (or on somebody's charity) in 6 years. Unless the GOP is able to raise the retirement age. If you are younger than 54 then just do the math to figure out when you will have to move to the streets. It's easy. For example, if you are 50 you have 10 years before you move onto the streets and so on.]

In addition to this they want to raise the retirement age and reduce the minimum wage requirements. At what point does a GOP leader say OK, I'm not leading my flock to the wolves... or has the ENTIRE GOP leadership partaken of the forbidden fruit?

More medicare "flip flops" (or outright lying if you want to be truthful!)

More Proof of Modern GOP Leaders NOT being Christian...

Rick Perry targets Bible belt to ignite Republican race for the White House
The battle for the "Bible belt", one of the most crucial constituencies in the Republican White House race, will begin in earnest in Waterloo, Iowaon Sunday, where Texas governor Rick Perry, who announced his candidature on Saturday, is to speak at a dinner in the Electric Park ballroom that will also be attended by congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

Bachmann changed her diary to be there, setting up an early showdown between two Christian evangelicals either of whom could be Barack Obama's opponent in the presidential election next year. Bachmann received a big early advantage on Saturday night when she came top of the Republican straw poll in Ames, the biggest political festival in America this year. In the second biggest vote in the history of the straw poll, with almost 17,000 voting, Bachmann took 4,823. Perry, as he had not declared in time, was not on the ballot but still managed to win 718 write-ins. The victory provides Bachmann with a short-term advantage but it is unlikely to last long with the arrival of Perry. The real race begins now.

The importance of the evangelical vote is huge, representing an estimated 40% of Republicans who will vote in the Iowa caucus, which is scheduled for February. Iowa, as the first of the contests, matters – helping to propel candidates to the front of the race and seeing others heading for oblivion.

Bachmann has received the endorsement of more than 100 pastors and Christian leaders in the state in the past week alone. But Perry's entry upsets her calculations. He is both a politician and part-time preacher, the kind of southerner who appeals to the Christian right. "Perry's entry shifts the dynamic," said Steve King, a rightwing congressman from Iowa, who was speaking at the Iowa state fair, where a string of Republican candidates used soapboxes to address voters sitting on straw bales.

American Christianity: constantly reimagined, manipulated and exploited
The politicised church, which has submerged religion under politics but claims to be the only real keeper of the flame, feeds off attention from vote-hungry politicians. Their pastors become players on the national stage, even while subject to criticism from their orthodox brethren and secularists alike.

Rick Warren's "purpose-driven" theology, for example, is considered unbiblical by some Christian critics. Kenneth Copeland, whose Word of Faith doctrine is considered heretical by Christians from both conservative and liberal traditions, is nonetheless quietly courted by Republican presidents and presidential hopefuls. He believes Jesus wants him to fly on a $20 million private jet while he sponges money off his television viewers.

The governor of Texas, Rick Perry, who plans to run for president, hosted a prayer rally that featured believers in signs, wonders, prophecies and spiritual warfare inspired by Joel 2. These are the generals Perry hopes will lead an army of believers, who insist that America must repent for the "sins" of abortion and homosexuality, to propel him to greater heights of political power. The candidate to whom he presents the greatest challenge, Michele Bachmann, studied law not how most American attorneys learn it, but through a curriculum designed by Christian Reconstructionists, who aim to have America governed by "biblical law".

Christianity in the US is collapsing: Christianity will struggle to re-emerge from the mishmash of self-help groups it has become in America
The rhetoric and politics of evangelicals and self-help gurus are different but the essential message is the same: it is the doctrine of salvation by faith according to the canonical born-again scenario. You are seized by the conviction that your life is profoundly unsatisfactory in some global way that eludes further analysis: you are sinful, neurotic, stressed, addicted, co-dependent – insufficiently happy. You assemble a customised mix of the beliefs that "work" for you: your personal faith. Through it you achieve salvation, healing, and personal growth, the start of an endless spiritual journey to further self-improvement. You, and other Americans whose only hobbies are themselves, support legions of pastors, gurus, therapists and motivational speakers.

It is easy to see why most people are contemptuous of this amalgam of credulity, sentimentality and narcissism, which in its evangelical Christian form is tied up with myths about the age of the earth and origin of species, sexual taboos and a conservative political agenda. With this as the public face of religion it's not surprising that in the US, as in Europe, Christianity is collapsing.

That is a shame because if it collapses everything essential to it and worthwhile, which is now merely obscure, will become inaccessible. Christian theology, metaphysical doctrines about the existence and nature of God that I believe to be true, will become curiosities, like the teachings of second-string neo-Platonists. Service books will languish in archives, for study by antiquarians. The better churches will be preserved as museums; mediocre ones will be gutted and refurbished as restaurants, condos and office space.

BTW, Rick Perry's Inconsistencies (he was in the primary against Romney)..

Despite His Current Vehemence on Taxes, Perry Has a More Nuanced Record
To hear him tell it on the presidential campaign trail, Gov. Rick Perry has never met a tax increase he liked. But at home, over a political career that reaches back to the oil price shocks of the 1980s, Mr. Perry has embraced billions of dollars worth of them — including a $528 million tax increase approved in 1990, after he defected to the Republican Party.

    Rick Perry's Gaffe Problem
A spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee said, "Rick's ramblings from the past 48 hours in the Hawkeye State show a candidate that's trying to create his own reality." Even Fox News commentator Karl Rove, the former political strategist for President George W. Bush (a former Texas governor who named Perry as his lieutenant governor), said Perry seems unpresidential and needs to choose his words more carefully.

Rick Perry Flip-Flops On The 10th Amendment and States Rights With Abortion

The thing about conservatives and state’s rights is that they are for them except when they are against them. Take Texas Governor Rick Perry, for example. Gov. Perry is on record for believing that Roe v. Wade should be overturned. That way states would be free to pass their own laws concerning abortion without having that pesky federal law and constitutional protections to worry about.

It appears that Gov. Perry has had a change of heart. According to RH Reality Check, Perry now supports a federal amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would grant personhood status and legal protections to unborn children. That’s right. The same Governor who openly flirted with secession now believes the federal government should dictate abortion law to the states. That’s an interesting evolution on the topic of federalism.

Rick Perry Flip Flops On Gay Marriage, Backs Federal Ban
Texas Governor Rick Perry (R), one of the country's most prominent defenders of the 10th Amendment, is making an exception when it comes to gay marriage. After initially telling reporters that it's "fine with me" if states like New York legalize same-sex unions through their own legislature, Perry is pulling a 180 and calling for a Federal Marriage Amendment

Do as I say not as I do...

Stimulus-Hating Gov. Rick Perry Used Stimulus to Balance Texas Budget
Gov. Rick Perry used federal stimulus money to pay 97 percent of Texas's budget shortfall in fiscal 2010--which is funny, because Perry spent a lot of time talking about just how terrible the stimulus was. In fact, Texas was the state that relied most heavily on stimulus funds, CNN's Tami Luhby reports.

"Even as Perry requested the Recovery Act money, he railed against it," Luhby writes. "On the very same day he asked for the funds, he set up a petition titled 'No Government Bailouts.'" It called on Americans to express their anger at irresponsible spending.

Thanks to the stimulus funds, Texas didn't have to dip into its $9.4 billion rainy day fund. Still, now that the stimulus is spent, Texas, like many other states, is facing severe cuts--$31 million must be carved from the budget.

    3 Moments of Zen...

    1. The Creationist Argument for dating the earth at 4004 B.C.

    Take Aways:

Question by Colbert: 'How can the caves be 32,000 years old when the world is only 6,000 years old?'

Answer: Colbert is referring to the dating system derived from the Gregorian calander and the Genesis version of creation (i.e. everything was created in 6 days and the 7th day God rested).

The problem here can be solved from the New Testament...

"2 Peter 3:8 (KJV 1900) 8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

I.e. To say the earth was created in a 'day' is a metaphor. Someone who wants to cause problems can focus on the old testament reading rather than the new testament one.

Those who believe that the Apostle Peter is wrong (i.e. about Genesis being a metaphor on "days of creation") are obviously NOT Christian.

    2. Jokes on the out-datedness of Leviticus (notice what types of bullying towards women is allowed!)...

    More scriptural proofs:

    1. Leviticus 19:27 “‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.

    2. Leviticus 5:2 "'Or if a person touches anything ceremonially unclean--whether the carcasses of unclean wild animals or of unclean livestock or of unclean creatures that move along the ground--even though he is unaware of it, he has become unclean and is guilty

    3. Leviticus 11:7 And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you.

    4. Leviticus 11:9 "'Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams, you may eat any that have fins and scales.

    5. Deuteronomy 22:9 Do not plant two kinds of seed in your vineyard; if you do, not only the crops you plant but also the fruit of the vineyard will be defiled

    6. Deuteronomy 22:11 Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.

    7. Leviticus 19:19 "'Keep my decrees. "'Do not mate different kinds of animals. "'Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. "'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

YOU ARE NOT CHRISTIAN IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE FIRST AND SECOND COMMANDMENTS OF JESUS i.e.

    1. Love God body mind and soul and 2. Love thy neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:36-40)

    3. More religious hypocrisy...

‎"Let the record show that on January 16, 2012, the good people of South Carolina booed the Golden Rule."

― Jon Stewart... [Note: Golden Rule = ‘Love your neighbor as yourself'. Matthew 22:39]

Instead of the golden rule, this is what is being followed...

    Numbers 31: 17-18
    17. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
    18. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

i.e The GOP has become party of rape and war... also called "terrorists" for example:

From Washington Post Article on Peter King: "The British government is a murder machine," King said. He described the IRA, which mastered the car bomb as an instrument of urban terror, as a "legitimate force." And he compared Gerry Adams, the leader of Sinn Fein, the IRA's political wing, to George Washington.

Yup. The GOP Leaders have created a party for war and rape. Rape and war have gone hand in hand historically, so I guess the GOP leaders figured why not implement it into US Law and just make it legal?

"Advance, and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood." Khalil Gibran (Khalil Gibran was a Catholic Christian from Lebanon)

On My "Rhetoric": Everything in my blogs is proven. You want rhetoric based on lies then you can go back to the arguments between the Founding Fathers. You can't touch my proofs.

    1. Founding Fathers arguing in context of today's politics...

The only thing different this election is Mitt Romney using Newt Gingrich's tactic when Newt gets caught lying, i.e. you're getting mean be polite! Well, the founding fathers didn't do that. Let's see if Mitt Romney can handle truthful attacks against his outright and proven lies (see above).

    2. Mitt Romney's Is Using Divisive politics like when he endorsed Scott Walker who divided his State so badly he went through a recall election - He was doing the opposite of Ronald Regan too!  (i.e. Mitt is DEFINITELY using Frank Luntz - see video of Frant Luntz above)
