Given the above proofs the following behavior begins to make sense...
The CIA is messing around in Afghanistan. Proofs:
1. Lt. Col. Daniel Davis: Commanders Sending False Impressions of Afghan War: - Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis recently criticized top military brass, including retired Gen. David Petraeus, saying they have misled Congress and the American people about progress in the war in Afghanistan. Margaret Warner speaks with Davis about his whistleblowing, why he went public and what his future may hold in the military.
2. Confessions of an Iraq War Whistleblower: The State Department fired me for telling the truth about US failures in Iraq. Here's why I don't regret it. What I saw while serving the State Department at a forward operating base in Iraq was, however, different. There, the space between what we were doing (the eye-watering waste and mismanagement) and what we were saying (the endless claims of success and progress) was filled with numb soldiers and devastated Iraqis, not scaredy-cat bureaucrats. That was too much for even a well-seasoned cubicle warrior like me to ignore, and so I wrote a book about it, We Meant Well: How I Helped Lose the War for the Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi People. I was on the spot to see it all happen, leading two Provincial Reconstruction Teams in rural Iraq while taking part up close and personal in what the US government was doing to, not for, Iraqis. Originally, I imagined that my book's subtitle would be "Lessons for Afghanistan," since I was hoping the same mistakes would not be endlessly repeated there. Sometimes being right doesn't solve a damn thing.

4. The GOP's CIA's "War On Yemen"
5. Enemies of The Constitution?
Now, understand this carefully... the Southern part of the United States is so racist that the GOP's whole strategy (since Nixon!) is to use this racism to win elections...
1. Previous Proof: Contextual Evidence Of Racism In The Confederate South
2.White guys vs. Obama
He’s getting blown away among blue-collar white men, but it doesn’t have to cost him the election.
It could also be that the blue-collar men have been more receptive (especially in the face of tough economic times) to the right’s unrelenting efforts to create culturally based resentment of Obama. Conservative leaders, news outlets and commentators have taken countless opportunities to add to their preferred caricature of Obama as a radical leftist eager to settle old racial scores on behalf of black America. Themore subtle voices have simply pushed the idea that there’s something distinctly un-American about Obama’s policies. It may be that all of this has had an effect beyond the hardcore Republican base.
Whatever the reason, Obama’s white guy problem is particularly ominousfor his chances in a swing state like Ohio, with its large blue-collar population. The flip side, though, is that he may not be as damaged in swing states with more diverse populations — Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico, for instance, where Hispanics account for a growing share of the electorate. This could create a path to victory for Obama even if he’s unable to win back any of the blue-collar white men he’s lost.
At this point, if Obama wins a second term, it will be despite losing to Romney among men and among whites. This doesn’t mean he can afford to write off blue-collar white men completely. But if he gets his clock cleaned with them and still prevails, it will speak to the advantage Democrats figure to enjoy as America continues to diversify in the years ahead.
3.Study: All-White Jury Pools More Likely To Convict Black Defendants (UPDATED)
Duke University released a study on Tuesday that examined the impact of race in jury pools in Florida, and there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that, according to the study, which looked at 700 cases between 2000 and 2010, all-white jury pools are significantly more likely to lead to convictions of black defendants than white ones. The good news is that a single black juror in the pool can alter that dynamic.
Two particularly salient points from Duke'ssummary of the study:
-- In cases with no blacks in the jury pool, blacks were convicted 81 percent of the time, and whites were convicted 66 percent of the time. The estimated difference in conviction rates rises to 16 percent when the authors controlled for the age and gender of the jury and the year and county in which the trial took place.
-- When the jury pool included at least one black person, the conviction rates were nearly identical: 71 percent for black defendants, 73 percent for whites.
4. Piers Morgan's greatest hits: Morgan Freeman on the tea party, racism and Obama
Here's Freeman on the right wing and the tea party in this country:
"The tea partiers who are controlling the Republican party...their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term," he tells Piers Morgan. "What underlines that? Screw the country, we're going to do whatever we can to get this black man out of here."
He continues: "It is a racist thing." Is he disappointed in Pres. Obama?
"Kind of, but I so understood that he was trying to hold onto his own promise," says Freeman. "He would be President of all the people.""
5. "The Tea Party is basically a racist endeavor"...

Get More: Colbert Report Full Episodes,Political Humor & Satire Blog,Video ArchiveNotice that Stephen Colbert transitions to Rick Perry... why? Answer: Because he is tapping into extreme Christian views (mostly created by GOP shills) to seek war... as Christian fundamentalists are already expecting the return of Christ in Israel and thus want to be there for the return (i.e. in charge of the land on which Israel currently sits!)...
In Matthew 24:14, the Bible says that the Gospel (the news about Jesus and his offer of salvation and eternal life) will be preached throughout the world. The Bible also says that sometime after this happens, the end will come. The Bible has been preached throughout the world for a long time. But now, with the increasing worldwide availability of television and the Internet, there is greater potential for the Gospel to be preached to everyone, everywhere. - Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. - .
To activate the evangelical base the "Christians" are promoting lies and war!...
"Apparently Mr Perry considers the Palestinian people's efforts to achieve self-determination via a vote at the UN to be equivalent to a war of conquest by a totalitarian state. Mr Perry said that "as a Christian", he has "a clear directive to support Israel", suggesting his position is rooted in Biblical prophecy and providing clarification for those Muslims wondering whether Western support for zionism is really related to the Crusades. " (please note that the part left out is that fundamentalist Christians blame the Jews for the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, quite angrily {I lived in Oklahoma}.
From BBC: Barack Obama has told the UN General Assembly the Palestinians deserve their own state, but that this would only be achieved through talks with Israel.
Obama is clearly following Republican/GOP rhetoric (I hope, because the GOP solution leads to perpetual war for example see Paul Ryan's budget)...
Rick Perry: "Palestinian statehood must be established only through direct negotiations between the Palestinian leadership and the nation of Israel."
This is the mess he is playing around with...
1. Rick Perry targets Bible belt to ignite Republican race for the White House The battle for the "Bible belt", one of the most crucial constituencies in the Republican White House race, will begin in earnest in Waterloo, Iowaon Sunday, where Texas governor Rick Perry, who announced his candidature on Saturday, is to speak at a dinner in the Electric Park ballroom that will also be attended by congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Bachmann changed her diary to be there, setting up an early showdown between two Christian evangelicals either of whom could be Barack Obama's opponent in the presidential election next year. Bachmann received a big early advantage on Saturday night when she came top of the Republican straw poll in Ames, the biggest political festival in America this year. In the second biggest vote in the history of the straw poll, with almost 17,000 voting, Bachmann took 4,823. Perry, as he had not declared in time, was not on the ballot but still managed to win 718 write-ins. The victory provides Bachmann with a short-term advantage but it is unlikely to last long with the arrival of Perry. The real race begins now.
The importance of the evangelical vote is huge, representing an estimated 40% of Republicans who will vote in the Iowa caucus, which is scheduled for February. Iowa, as the first of the contests, matters – helping to propel candidates to the front of the race and seeing others heading for oblivion. Bachmann has received the endorsement of more than 100 pastors and Christian leaders in the state in the past week alone. But Perry's entry upsets her calculations. He is both a politician and part-time preacher, the kind of southerner who appeals to the Christian right. "Perry's entry shifts the dynamic," said Steve King, a rightwing congressman from Iowa, who was speaking at the Iowa state fair, where a string of Republican candidates used soapboxes to address voters sitting on straw bales.
2. American Christianity: constantly reimagined, manipulated and exploited The politicised church, which has submerged religion under politics but claims to be the only real keeper of the flame, feeds off attention from vote-hungry politicians. Their pastors become players on the national stage, even while subject to criticism from their orthodox brethren and secularists alike. Rick Warren's "purpose-driven" theology, for example, is considered unbiblical by some Christian critics. Kenneth Copeland, whose Word of Faith doctrine is considered heretical by Christians from both conservative and liberal traditions, is nonetheless quietly courted by Republican presidents and presidential hopefuls. He believes Jesus wants him to fly on a $20 million private jet while he sponges money off his television viewers. The governor of Texas, Rick Perry, who plans to run for president, hosted a prayer rally that featured believers in signs, wonders, prophecies and spiritual warfare inspired by Joel 2. These are the generals Perry hopes will lead an army of believers, who insist that America must repent for the "sins" of abortion and homosexuality, to propel him to greater heights of political power. The candidate to whom he presents the greatest challenge, Michele Bachmann, studied law not how most American attorneys learn it, but through a curriculum designed by Christian Reconstructionists, who aim to have America governed by "biblical law".
3. Christianity in the US is collapsing: Christianity will struggle to re-emerge from the mishmash of self-help groups it has become in America The rhetoric and politics of evangelicals and self-help gurus are different but the essential message is the same: it is the doctrine of salvation by faith according to the canonical born-again scenario. You are seized by the conviction that your life is profoundly unsatisfactory in some global way that eludes further analysis: you are sinful, neurotic, stressed, addicted, co-dependent – insufficiently happy. You assemble a customised mix of the beliefs that "work" for you: your personal faith. Through it you achieve salvation, healing, and personal growth, the start of an endless spiritual journey to further self-improvement. You, and other Americans whose only hobbies are themselves, support legions of pastors, gurus, therapists and motivational speakers. It is easy to see why most people are contemptuous of this amalgam of credulity, sentimentality and narcissism, which in its evangelical Christian form is tied up with myths about the age of the earth and origin of species, sexual taboos and a conservative political agenda. With this as the public face of religion it's not surprising that in the US, as in Europe, Christianity is collapsing. That is a shame because if it collapses everything essential to it and worthwhile, which is now merely obscure, will become inaccessible. Christian theology, metaphysical doctrines about the existence and nature of God that I believe to be true, will become curiosities, like the teachings of second-string neo-Platonists. Service books will languish in archives, for study by antiquarians. The better churches will be preserved as museums; mediocre ones will be gutted and refurbished as restaurants, condos and office space.
4. Reports: Rick Perry's backers behind stories against Mormon faith Two new stories suggest that while Rick Perry has said he doesn't believe Mormonism is a cult, as one of his backers characterized the LDS Church, Perry's campaign team might be cheerleading negative messages about the Mormon faith, and his backers might be behind them. First, The Daily Beast's McKay Coppins wrote about a series of emails that appear to show "Perry's team may be quietly advancing the notion that Mitt Romney 's faith should disqualify him from the White House."
5. The US evangelicals who believe environmentalism is a 'native evil' What is often not fully absorbed by onlookers, though, is the underlying role that religious doctrine – or "pulpit power" - plays in the environmental debate in the US. On the one hand, you have the "Creation Care" movement which is prevalent in some quarters of the Christian Church. On the other, particularly among evangelicals, you often see a vitriolic reaction aimed towards environmentalism. Just last month, a survey of 1,000 Protestant pastors found that 41% strongly disagreed with the statement: "I believe global warming is real and manmade." The survey also found that 52% of the pastors address the issue of the environment with their churches once a year or less, with evangelical pastors speaking less often on the environment than mainline pastors.
6. [Bot Bites] Rick Perry Wages War On Women and Lies About Using Stimulus Money!
Rick Santorum is following the same warmongering as Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich (but is so stupid he thinks it's different!)...
Rand Paul Calls Rick Santorum A War-Mongering Moderate
On Iowa talk radio this morning, Rand took after Santorum with a line of attack reminiscent of that infamous Lyndon Johnson dig at Barry Goldwater. In short, Rand asked, is Santorum the kind of guy you want with his finger on the button?
The line came in response to a question about Ron Paul’s foreign policy, which has given many in the pro-Israel right pause. They worry that Paul will allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon and won’t engage the country even if it attacks Israel. Santorum and other Republican candidates have been attacking Paul along these lines with great gusto, thinking they can push Paul out to the extremes and far away from the average Iowa voter.
Rand said his father’s view has been distorted and explained that the real question on foreign policy isn’t about who won’t attack another country, but rather who will. And Santorum’s anti-Iran talk is downright dangerous, Rand said.
“Ron Paul does not want [Iran] to have a nuclear weapon, but the question is do you want someone who’s trigger happy to be your commander in chief?,” Rand said.
Santorum is “a little over-eager to drop bombs,” Rand said.
He’s also someone who never served in the military. Ron Paul served in the military, will use force against our enemies if it’s required and if Congress approves of it, but I’m a little concerned about someone who didn’t serve in the military like Santorum, who’s a little over-eager to bomb countries because I don’t think he’s maturely thinking through the process and the consequences of war.
This is a nice attempt at a ninja move by the Paul campaign — turning all the fire and brimstone about Iran into a real discussion about a potentially real nuclear war could give conservatives (who polls have shown are war-weary like the rest of America) pause when it comes to backing Santorum and other candidates who like to focus on Iran as well
Rick Santorum is an example of someone who uses the word 'terrorist' loosely, just about anyone can be or become a terrorist to this fool (i.e. he practically craves war!)...
Rick Santorum's New Hampshire Roadshow: Terrorist Judges, "Snookered" Reagan, and Fidel Castro
Rick Santorum loathes the liberal judges of the Ninth Circuit, the federal appeals court that stretches from Alaska to California to Arizona. In small-town New Hampshire on Thursday, Santorum unveiled his plan for ending those judges' "reign of terror": Ship 'em all to Guam.
Santorum was full of spicy quips on Thursday at an old train station in the town of Northfield. Riding high from his impressive second place finish in Iowa's caucuses, Santorum held court before a standing-room-only crowd here, with almost as many journalists as voting-age New Hampshire citizens in attendance. He veered from issue to issue, from the evil of President Obama's Affordable Care Act to tax policy under Ronald Reagan, reforming Social Security to the 2009 Honduran coup.
On the Ninth Circuit, a favorite punching bag for conservatives, Santorum said he supported its abolishment—"What the Congress creates, it can uncreate"—or at least tossing out its most liberal judges and replacing them with new ones. He acknowledged there might be some Constitutional problems with just firing the Ninth's judges. His solution: "Maybe we can create a court that puts them in Guam or something like that," a jab that earned him more than a few laughs.
The Ninth Circuit wasn't the only court Santorum blasted. He singled out the Supreme Court—at least its more liberal justices—for plenty of criticism, calling the high court an out-of-control "super-legislature." "Five people who are not accountable to the people should not be able to amend the Constitution," he said.
Ron Paul ON Santorum - Betrayal
Not every solution involves bombing Iran or sending in the CIA to cause problems...
There are many ways to resolve conflict. Generally there are ways to reach a peaceful solution. The following is an interview with the author of "The Candy Bombers" which is a book about a situation in which conflict could have led to world war 3 so a few of the people involved were determined to find a peaceful solution. When people are determined to attain peace they come up with innovative and effective solutions. Notice how the focus of the problem solvers(in the following video) is on making friends through gifts (such as humanitarian aid) rather than subduing an opponent through threats.

1. Overview of "Socialism" by The Colbert Report (backed by news sources)
2. GOP congressman decries socialism on House floor, but by his own definition, he’s a socialist.
“Let’s talk about socialism for a moment. It’s greater and greater government micromanaging of our lives. It’s higher taxes to pay for it,” Brooks said. “Let’s talk about free enterprise. Free enterprise is belief in the individual, in freedom, in opportunity. It’s what has helped make America one of the greatest nations the world has ever seen.”
— part of a House floor speech this week by US Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), in which he denounced Democrats as “the socialist members of this body.”
But Brooks is all for government micromanaging of our lives. He wants to ban abortion, stem-cell research, and gay marriage. He thinks Muslim Americans pose a national security threat. He also thinks it’s important to spend tax money on NASA, which has a huge presence in his district, and takes credit for a $1.8 billion appropriation for the space program in the last budget…which is far greater than the funding that he chose to cut from women’s clinics and public broadcasting last year.
Best of all is his stance on illegal immigrants: “I will do anything short of shooting them.”
Well, at least he’s a big believer in “the individual, in freedom, in opportunity.” Not like those micromanaging reds!
3. Allen West's Communist Conspiracy Implicates Woodrow Wilson
Rep. Allen West has been on a tear recently trying to defend his assertion that liberal Democrats are actually communists. West's argument focuses not on Democrats' commitment to the dictatorship of the proletariat or the elimination of private enterprise, but the fact that Democrats generally support public assistance and regulation of private industry.
All of this is ridiculous, but perhaps my favorite West assertion of late is the idea that President Woodrow Wilson was a communist. Here is Mr. West's reasoning, as relayed by TPM's Eric Kleefield:
I think that if you would take the time to study the political spectrum of ideologies, you’d understand that at the turn of the [20th] century, American Communists renamed themselves as progressives. If you study the Woodrow Wilson administration, people referred to the Woodrow Wilson administration as a progressive administration.
So Wilson described himself as progressive, and progressive just means communist, so Wilson was a communist. This is fifth-grade logic.
Tim Weiner's excellent history of the FBI goes into great detail about Wilson's record on communism, but here are a few examples of how President Wilson, in real life, dealt with self-identified communists and socialists:
- Wilson imprisoned and deported communists, socialists, and leftists for just generally holding views he found subversive.
- Wilson threw American Socialist Party leader Eugene V. Debs, who had garnered nearly a million votes running against Wilson in 1912, in prison for speaking out against the imprisonment of anti-war leftists.
- Wilson sent American soldiers to support Czarist forces against Bolshevik revolutionaries during the Russian civil war in 1918.
- Wilson appointed A. Mitchell Palmer as his Attorney General. The iconic 1920 Palmer Raids resulted in mass arrests and deportations of suspected leftists of all stripes.
How many communists do you have to kill and/or throw in prison to not be considered a communist? It's not like Wilson lacks for actual flaws either, given that he was a huge racist and Confederate sympathizer, among other things.
Moment of Zen: As a result of the the above (explanations, videos and links), we have a situation that will be extremely dangerous to US stability (so obviously it will affect Israel and it's safety as well, especially if the GOP return to power)...
